Thien Tran, 19, of Olney, and Nicholas Sy, 17, of Oak Lane, were heading south on the Boulevard when their car made contact with another vehicle near Devereaux Street, authorities said. Tran, the driver, lost control of the car, and it veered right and crashed into a tree and then a house on the 1500 block of Stevens, police said.

Tran and Sy were both ejected from the car and died at the scene, according to police.

A 27-year-old female passenger in the other car received a minor injury and was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.

Police are actively investigating the crash. ••
